Wonderhop
A free daily trivia game: 4 games a day, no account
Wonderhop is a daily trivia game, free and played in the browser. Every day at midnight, Montreal time, everyone gets the same 4 games of 7 questions: Sky, Abyss, Past and Future. Each game takes 3 to 4 minutes, and your scores go on a daily leaderboard.
Unlike a quiz with multiple choices, you type whatever comes to mind. A question like "Name a famous clock tower" has hundreds of correct answers, and an AI judge reads yours, checks it and tells you in one sentence why it was refused if it was. Fans of quiz shows where the crowd's answer or the least popular answer wins will feel at home.

The 4 games of the day
- Sky: give the answer most players give. The more popular, the more points.
- Abyss: give a real answer almost nobody gives. The rarer, the more points.
- Past: name the oldest thing you can in the category, the older the better.
- Future: name the newest thing you can in the category, the more recent the better.
Why a daily game
Because it ends. Four games, a few minutes, then the day is done and you come back tomorrow for new questions. Everyone plays the same questions on the same day, so a score means something: you can compare it with friends by sharing your result card, or on the leaderboard.
If you want more, the optional Hop Pass opens unlimited games, games by theme and the archives of the last 30 days. The daily games stay free for everyone, without ads.
Trivia that accepts your answer, not a list of choices
Most trivia sites give you 4 choices. Wonderhop gives you a blank field and 30 seconds. Spelling mistakes are forgiven when the word is clearly recognizable, synonyms count, and answers in another language are often understood too. When an answer is refused, the reason is written on the screen.
There is no trick question and no trivia you need to memorize: the categories are general knowledge, like foods, countries, films, animals, jobs or inventions. What changes is the angle: say what everyone says, say what nobody says, go back in time or stay close to today.
In 9 languages, on any device
The same questions are written in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Turkish, and the judge reads answers in the language you play in. It works on a phone, a tablet or a computer, with nothing to install and no account to create.
